School Baseball Classics 2014

A Strong Performance by Friedrich-Ebert-Gymnasium from Mühlheim

With the participation of Edith-Stein-School in Offenbach and Friedrich-Ebert-Gymnasium in Mühlheim, the pilot project School Baseball Classics started on Wednesday at the SG Sportzentrum Rosenhöhe.

At first it looked as though sport might once again produce a major surprise, because the favored Friedrich-Ebert-Gymnasium team faced a team with a strong fighting spirit that was ready to give everything! But with four baseball club players taking part, including players such as Samuel Selomon and Noah Rohmeier, the experienced players from Mühlheim prevailed against the Offenbach team and won the exciting game 32 runs to 4 runs after five innings.

However, the students of Edith-Stein-School Offenbach were able to show surprisingly good individual plays and delivered a performance they could be completely satisfied with. We can already look forward to another chapter of this thriller.
