Successful License Ceremony for the Intercultural Instructor Training Program

A significant step for club sports in the region: The Hessian State Sports Federation hosted a ceremony to award licenses for the intercultural instructor training program.

The training program was organized by the Hessian State Sports Federation and brought together dedicated participants from the Main-Kinzig, Offenbach, and Frankfurt sports districts. The goal of the program is to strengthen sports as a platform for integration and to train new instructors for club work.

As an instructor, Benjamin Sonsalla led the training series and, together with other organizers, supported the participants through several intensive training weekends. With great dedication, the training team taught topics related to training design, team leadership, and intercultural skills.

Among the graduates were Gustavo and Gunther von Goetzen Sanchez, as well as numerous other dedicated athletes who successfully completed the training program.

The training weekends were marked by high motivation, active discussion, and strong team spirit. The diversity of the participants, in particular, was seen as a great asset—an aspect that also plays a central role in baseball.

For the Offenbach Twins Baseball Club, promoting integration and developing young talent is an important part of the club’s philosophy. Qualified coaches make a decisive contribution to attracting new members and further developing the sport in the long term.
