The Team Already Begins Preparing in December for the 2026 Games

The team registration was completed in December. We then started the winter with baseball rules and basic exercises at Goetheschule. At the same time, we continued recruiting new players and visiting the schools we already know – as we do every year before the start of the season. This time we also visited Beethoven School and Käthe-Kollwitz School.

The dream start with a home game against STORM Hünstetten unfortunately could not take place because Hünstetten requested a postponement. We would have liked to start against Hünstetten on our home field because STORM is a very open team and we keep learning from each other. We feel very comfortable with them and everything is very harmonious. The students benefited from strong winter training and received very good preparation. Under head coach Gunther von Goetzen Sanchez, we also had two very experienced Dominican coaches who perfectly complemented the head coach's work.

Our players can only be described as role-model players. They already possess the basic technical skills that play a very important role in baseball. We still have to work in various areas. We already know these areas, and the training plan is set – we just have to follow this path.
