Restart After the Pandemic Ends with One Win and One Loss

The First Game Was Characterized by Positive Tension and Many Incredibly Good Plays by Both Teams

"To inaugurate the new baseball club from the Main-Kinzig district, SKG Phantoms hosted the Offenbach Twins in Erbstadt. This game was a small challenge for both the Twins and the Phantoms: for the Phantoms it was the club's first game, and for the Offenbach Twins it was a restart after the pandemic.

The first game was characterized by positive tension and many incredibly good plays by both teams, with many new players performing as if they had already had several years of league experience. It was also very pleasing that all players from both teams got to play and everyone had a positive experience, making it a successful baseball day on Bönstädter Straße in Erbstadt.

In the second game, we hosted the Phantoms here in Offenbach and, despite the home-field advantage, had to give everything and chase the victory. However, after a pitcher change by the Phantoms, we had to realize that the turnaround would not be so easy, and in the eighth inning we decided to end the game because both teams were tired and accepted a narrow defeat."
