No Participation in the Official HBSV Competition in 2017

Still Plenty of Enjoyment of the Sport Even Without Official Games

With plenty of fighting spirit, our new players tested their skills last Sunday in a friendly game with the older players and gained an impression of what our competition will look like this summer.

The friendly game is part of the preparation for the upcoming season for those young athletes who train hard twice a week.

The preparation phase for the coming season included a whole series of additional friendly games as well as extensive technical analysis of individual players.

In December 2017, the club board will once again review whether to register a men's team with the Hessian Baseball Association or start with only a youth team featuring our new enthusiastic young players. The registration deadline is December 15, 2017.

All players clearly enjoyed the friendly game. Beforehand, our players had completed 1.5 hours of training, which began at 4:00 p.m. During the session we discussed the rules of the game and basic tactics once again. The game was played until approximately 8:00 p.m.
